Open architectures such as the British GVA standard (Generic Vehicle Architecture) or NATO Generic Vehicle Architecture (NGVA, STANAG 4754) are being implemented for current vehicle programs in Great Britain or Australia. The Dutch program FOXTROTT and in Germany D-LBO (digitization of land-based operations) will also be launched in the future as a bilateral joint project TEN (Tactical Edge Networking). This involves the amalgamation of the large digitization programs of both countries using the greatest possible synergy effects. It can currently be assumed that all future vehicle programs will be significantly influenced by the requirements of the standards mentioned.roda has developed an entire product family called roCCs (roda Common Crew station) to cover all the specific needs of these open architectures and uses components that already have significant growth potential. In this way, new requirements that go beyond the known standards can be intercepted in advance and aspects of the future has been considered. Middleware is also taken into account, which meets the standards and depicts many functions.
The roCCs series is available as a pure operating and display device, i.e. display, as a combined panel PC as a high-performance workstation with an Intel Xeon processor or as an energy-saving client with an Intel i processor or even as a pure vehicle computer without a display device!
