“The visualization of information using large-format screens has long been standard in the private sector, whereas in the government and military sector, people often still work with a blackboard, pen and stick. Projects such as DLBO (Digitalization of Land-Based Operations) in the German Armed Forces and various other initiatives for the digitalization of government agencies are now intended to help bring old-fashioned structures up to the state of the art. The choice of an optical output medium - usually the screen - is particularly important in this context.”
