The success story of roda computer GmbH, headquartered in 77839 Lichtenau, Germany, dates back to 1987. From the very start, the company has specialised itself in the development, manufacture, and sales of mobile computers; since 1995, we have been focusing almost exclusively on ruggedised IT solutions.
We have been supporting our customers as they overcome their challenges for more than 30 years. Together with them, we continuously develop our own capacities.
The managing directors of roda computer GmbH are Martin Bertsch, Frank Scholz and Siegbert Wortmann.

Quality policy
At roda, the quality of our products is vital to customer satisfaction and, therefore, to our sustainable success as a company.
We strive to realise the best product quality with fast availability and combine this with reliable delivery.
All our locations are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and our operations follow AQAP 2110.
roda carries out routine tests to ensure product quality. This means that each device is extensively tested over a period of 16 hours with the help of special test software. In addition, 10% of devices within a delivery lot undergo a product-specific climatic and vibration test. The device is handed over to logistics only after all tests have been passed successfully.
Customer-specific solutions are certified in an external testing laboratory, depending on the requirements and according to standards such as MIL-STD 810G, MIL-STD 461F, DO 160D, VG standards, etc.
